　　例1　A: Hi, Rose. I haven't seen you for ages.

　　嗨，罗斯，好久不见啦!

　　B: It really has been for ages. How is everything?

　　是的，一切都好吗?

　　A: Very well, thank you. Rose, do you know my friend, Tom?

　　很好，谢谢。罗斯，认识我的朋友汤姆吗?

　　B: I don't know. What's wrong?

　　我不认识，怎么了?

　　A: But he knew you, and asked me to say “hello” to you.

　　但是他认识你，并要我向你问好。

　　B: Tom? Is he new here?

　　汤姆?是新来的吗?

　　A: Yes, he's from Boston Public School.

　　B: It's an excellent school. And I think he will enjoy himself in our school soon.
